The Åre Valley landscape has a strong focus on Undersaker “parish” (200.00 ha): monoculture forest, spruce plantations, clear-cutting areas and grassland areas. One of Scandinavia’s hotspots for winter and summer tourism. A part of the area is where the Sami people live and have grazing rights, whilst most of these lands are owned and managed by the government.
