9 SDGs align directly with our 4 Returns framework. Building partnerships (SDG 17) is critical to successful holistic landscape restoration: we help build local and global alliances of philanthropic funders, impact investors, policymakers, farmers, business and community leaders, indigenous people, and conservationists.
In addition to the SDGs, Commonland has been a proud partner of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration since its launch in 2021. The Decade aims to prevent, halt and reverse the degradation of ecosystems on every continent and ocean, help end poverty, combat climate change, and avert mass extinction.
