Collaborate with the 4 Returns Framework
We invite partners and restoration initiatives to adopt and build upon the 4 Returns Framework, sharing their experiences and progress as they implement this approach. To support your efforts in restoring landscapes, 4 Returns and Commonland provide a range of tools, resources and best practices accessible through the Commonland website, 4 Returns community or the 4 Returns Media Hub.
Guidelines for Material Usage
The materials are freely available and unlicensed, but we kindly ask you to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Logo Usage: Use the 4 Returns logo without modifications (e.g., size, font, or color). Icons are exempt from this rule.
- Attribution: When referencing the 4 Returns Framework, please include the following statement:
“Inspired by the 4 Returns Framework. For more information, visit www.commonland.com.”
Trademark
Please be advised that the following terms, logos, and images are legally protected trademarks. Their use as a legal mark or program name is prohibited without prior written permission:

Copy right
Please be aware that certain materials from Commonland and 4 Returns are proprietary and protected under EU copyright law. Affiliated partners and other restoration initiatives organizations, decision makers, journalists/press, employees and others are granted a right of use for these materials to promote the uptake of holistic landscape restoration.These materials may not be modified, processed, transformed or manipulated in any form or by any means without prior written permission from Commonland or -if applicable- partners. Exceptions are e.g. quotations used in critical reviews or specific non-commercial purposes.
